September 14, 1945 - December 14, 2020 Texas Chapter 23 Branch of Service: Army Espirio "Pilo" Vega was a dedicated member of the AMVETS giving of his time to ensure that the post he loved, Post 23, Dallas, Tx, would survive and thrive for years to come. As a Trustee of the Post, he and other trustees put processes and procedures in place that made the operations of the Post simple, repeatable and sustainable. As 2nd Vice of the Riders, he lent his leadership and love of riding to making the Riders of the "Biggest Little Post in Texas" the success it is today. RIP Pilo!!! LRB

Last ChapterThe AMVETS Riders would like to honor all those faithful Riders who have passed from this life to the next. Their voices and the the roar of their motorcycles have been stilled, but their names and faces are indelibly etched in our hearts and minds. Their passing has left a void that will never be filled, but we are grateful to have had the opportunity to serve and ride alongside them. We were blessed to know them, and we pray that God will bless us to be reunited when it is our time to take the final ride.
