Ohio Chapter 76 USMC Craig was a member of the JROTC in high school and enlisted in the USMC age the age of 18. Craig was a Helicopter Airframe Mechanic and served in Iraq receiving numerous medals of achievement. Craig was a proud member of Chapter 76 Athens OHIO and had a heart of gold. June 7, 1950-December 22, 2021
Illinois Chapter 169 U.S. Army Don was born in Peoria Ill. and served in the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. He was a great guy. Don fell ill several years ago, but still maintained his Riders membership. Don told me several times that he may not ever ride again, but wanted to pay his dues, just in case. Don loved his country and was a staunch supporter of the American way. Rest in Peace Brother. ![]() Aug 27, 1963-April 2, 2020 Florida Chapter 47 AMVETS Here is to our Brother who is no longer around, who gave us visions of roads not found, every time we think of him we'll never shed a tear. Instead we'll stand up and salute him with our beers, Salute to You, Salute to You, wishing he was here. It takes a certain breed to understand the certain needs of men who are free, everywhere we rode with him, we'll ride with him again, and we'll ride down that highway that never ends. Salute to You! Last ChapterThe AMVETS Riders would like to honor all those faithful Riders who have passed from this life to the next. Their voices and the the roar of their motorcycles have been stilled, but their names and faces are indelibly etched in our hearts and minds. Their passing has left a void that will never be filled, but we are grateful to have had the opportunity to serve and ride alongside them. We were blessed to know them, and we pray that God will bless us to be reunited when it is our time to take the final ride.
