1942-2012 AMVETS Riders State Chapter New Mexico Branch of Service- Army / Air Force I have been asked to write some words for Doc’s Memorial Page, I am Honored. I can think of to “My Brother “… If I must use more, this is what I would write. Doc Loved America, he fought for her and he continued to fight for her at every turn. He was an Old School Biker, and had adjusted to the world of motorcycle groups without loosing his passion for what was right and wrong. He truly lived Loyalty, Respect, and Brotherhood it was a way of Life. He was a driving force behind the AMVETS Riders and never gave up on promoting the organization. He was an AMVET First and gave all he had for Veterans. He was “Our Brother” LRB...

Last ChapterThe AMVETS Riders would like to honor all those faithful Riders who have passed from this life to the next. Their voices and the the roar of their motorcycles have been stilled, but their names and faces are indelibly etched in our hearts and minds. Their passing has left a void that will never be filled, but we are grateful to have had the opportunity to serve and ride alongside them. We were blessed to know them, and we pray that God will bless us to be reunited when it is our time to take the final ride.
