She attended Chauncey-Dover High School. She began her career as a waitress at the Hilltop Restaurant and has worked as a waitress and bartender at the clubhouse of several area Veterans organizations while working full time at T.S. Trim of Athens. She retired from T.S. Trim in 2015.
She was a member of 76 Riders, and the Ladies Auxiliaries of the Athens Posts of the American Legion, VFW and AMVETS. At 79 years old, when her little body was done, she was a Rider in her heart, and she loved her Riders. Sandy is survived by her husband of four years, Larry Klinglesmith; a daughter, Michele (Kenny) Drawdy of Summerville, SC; her son, Matthew (Tammy) Hawk of Chauncey; her step children, Tina (Barry) Deeter of Lottridge and Shane (Missy) Lockhart of Frost; five grandchildren, Travis, Shelby & Taylor Drawdy, and Noah & Justin Hawk; two great grandchildren, Robby McDaniel and Ellie Drawdy; two sisters, Rhea Douglas of Albany and Cheryl Pendergrast of Athens; a brother, Dennis Thompson of Obetz; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Besides her mother, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Mayles and Leroy Thompson.

Chapter 1994 Ohio 1965 - 2019 & 1968 - 2019 Larry Robert Lee, 53, of Arlington passed away at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 following a motorcycle accident. He was born on September 8, 1965 in Findlay to Ronald and Nancy (Taylor) Lee. He married AnneMarie Elaine Williams on June 13, 1987 and she preceded him in death on April 21, 2019. He is also survived by a daughter, Holly Lee; his father, Ronald Lee; two brothers: Lenny Lee, and Lane (Leslie) Lee; and two sisters: Lisa (David) Oman, and Linda Lee. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Lee. Larry was a 1984 graduate of Arlington High School and attended North-Western Business College. He was a STNA at the Good Samaritan Center in Arlington for 12 years. Larry and Anne had a passion for motorcycling and he served as the Chaplain for the AMVETS Posts 1994 and 21 where his nickname was "Tach". He was very religious and active at Good Hope Lutheran Church in Arlington. Larry's last act of kindness was to donate his organs and save six lives. He always put family first, dressing up as Santa and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He and Anne's pride and joy was their daughter, Holly; they were so proud of her and all of her accomplishments. AnneMarie Elaine Lee, age 50, of Arlington passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. She was born on her grandparent's wedding anniversary, September 22, 1968, in Bluffton, Indiana. She married Larry R. Lee on June 13, 1987 and he passed away on April 24, 2019. She is survived by a daughter, Holly Lee; mother and step-father: Vicki and Ken Lane; a sister, Rebekah (Troy) Spikes; brothers: Tommy (Layla) Williams II, and Robert (Mary) Williams. She was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Williams. Anne was a 1987 graduate of Van Buren High School and received her undergraduate degree in 2000 from the University of Toledo. She was an account clerk for Job and Family Services and worked there for 24 years. She and Larry enjoyed motorcycling and spending time at Lake Erie. She was an avid reader, and a member of AMVETS Posts 21 & 1994. Anne loved making people happy and making them laugh. Her daughter, Holly, was the joy of her life. She also loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. Chapter 1994 Ohio 1951 - 2019 Terry Michael Fleece, 68, of Kenton passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019 at his residence. He was born on April 30, 1951 in Kenton to the late Charles A. and Clara E. (Kipker) Fleece. Mike married Regina Stagnolia on June 26, 2010 and she survives along with his daughter, Heather (Craig) Schlosser of Waynesfield; and two grandchildren: Brylee and Brooklyn Schlosser. He is also survived by his brother, Charles A. “Duke” Fleece, Jr. of Bellefontaine; sisters: Shirley Schlinglof-Isom of Logansport, IN, and Sharon (David) Liles of Belle Center; brother-in-law, Harold Zachariah of Charleston, SC; numerous nieces and nephews; and his special dog, Brutus. Mike was preceded in death by a brother, Richard L. Fleece; sister, Phyllis Zachariah; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Fleece. Mike retired from Honda after many years of service. He was an avid musician, playing in several bands. Mike enjoyed golf and motorcycles but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Sons of Amvets, 1994 where he was the 9th District Commander and Judge Advocate. He was also a member of the Kenton Moose Lodge, Kenton Eagles, and the Amvets Riders. Mike and his wife Regina, were also the owners of Spirits 68. Chapter 1994 Ohio 1959 - 2019 Carl C. Joseph, 60 of Kenton passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Kenton on June 28, 1959 to Claude and Jewel (Shepherd) Joseph. Carl married Loretta Smith on May 3, 1986 and she survives along with his four children; Craig (Gretel) Joseph of Rochester, MI, Christopher (Emily) Joseph of New Jersey, Corey (Tabby) Joseph of Kenton and Cortney (Holden) Manns of Mt. Victory. He is also survived by his parents, Claude and Jewel Joseph of McGuffey, six sisters; Kathy (Randy) Ray of PA, Bonnie (Rick) Tillman, Connie (Jericho) Horton, Diane (George) Conover all of Kenton, Annetta (Tom) Shirk of Dunkirk, Patricia (Dave) Arnette of Alger, four grandchildren; Jacob and Trevor Joseph, Elijah Joseph, Reagan Manns and his mother and father-in-law Betty (Ronald) Smith of Kenton. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elijah and Millie Joseph and Raleigh and Virgie Shepherd. Carl served his country in the U.S. Army. He then worked for Marysville Steel Company where he was a welder/fabricator. He enjoyed building things, working on cars and riding his Harley. Carl loved animals, especially his 3 cats and his dog, Smokey, but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was also an avid Cincinnati Bengals and Ohio State fan. Chapter 1994 Ohio 1953 - 2020 Cheryl was born in Kenton on December 8, 1953 to the late Justin and Dortha Kaser. She was a 1971 graduate of Kenton High School. Cheryl was an over the road truck driver for 40 years. She is survived by her brother, Scott (Denise) Kaser and sister, Tonda (Ron) Adkins all of Kenton. She was a lifetime member of the Amvets Post 1994 where she was active in many capacities, including planning funeral dinners and the Amvets Riders. Last ChapterThe AMVETS Riders would like to honor all those faithful Riders who have passed from this life to the next. Their voices and the the roar of their motorcycles have been stilled, but their names and faces are indelibly etched in our hearts and minds. Their passing has left a void that will never be filled, but we are grateful to have had the opportunity to serve and ride alongside them. We were blessed to know them, and we pray that God will bless us to be reunited when it is our time to take the final ride.
