Indiana Chapter 91 Sons of AMVETS Born December 27, 1940, George was very active in the AMVETS organization, being a member of the Sons and Riders he was also Past Commander and Past President of both. George also served as Chaplain of the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard, AMVETS Post 91, as well as the Riders Chaplain. George was well liked and loved by all. He will be missed, but never forgotten. October 3, 1946 - January 20, 2017 Indiana Chapter 12 Branch of Service: US Army Jim was not only the President of Chapter 12 Riders, he was the main driving force to get it established. He was also a loyal Patriot Guard Rider. He will be missed dearly! November 4, 1970 - November 13, 2016 Michigan Chapter 171 Sons of AMVETS Dan "Raferman" Rafferty, Charter Chapter Sgt-at-Arms, Chapter 171 (Westland, MI). Best Rider we have. Always calm, cool and collected. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. February 5, 1942 - July 24, 2016

Last ChapterThe AMVETS Riders would like to honor all those faithful Riders who have passed from this life to the next. Their voices and the the roar of their motorcycles have been stilled, but their names and faces are indelibly etched in our hearts and minds. Their passing has left a void that will never be filled, but we are grateful to have had the opportunity to serve and ride alongside them. We were blessed to know them, and we pray that God will bless us to be reunited when it is our time to take the final ride.
