Dear Amvets Riders Family,
I have been given the honor of being the AMVETS Riders National Chaplain . I am Chaplain for the Department of Georgia Riders and have been for the past few years, I am also an officer at the Post and Chapter level. I'm married with four kids ages eight to nineteen, my wife and oldest son are both AMVETS Riders as well. Although the Chaplain's job is not always pleasant, I am excited to get started and look forward to hearing from you and meeting all of you at the Mid Year Rally as well as the National Convention. Please feel free to send a message on Facebook or an email and let me know if you have any questions, comments or prayer requests.

If you do not know me, I am the National AMVETS Riders Chaplain. One of my responsibilities as chaplain is to honor and memorialize all of our fallen Riders. Attached you will find a list of all the AMVETS Riders who have passed since the National AMVETS convention last fall. I want to make sure I haven’t forgotten anyone, so please review the attachment.
If you had a Rider member pass from August 2015-August 2016, make sure I have included them on the list. If I missed someone from your chapter, please email me or call me with their name and date of death as soon as possible so I can add them. During the Riders meeting at the National AMVETS convention 13 August 2016, I will be distributing and reading the names of all deceased AMVETS Riders who passed in the the last year. I want to be sure that all of our fallen Riders who are now in the Last Chapter are properly honored.
Since I will be leaving for the National convention on Wednesday, August 10, I need to I receive any additional deceased members’ names prior to this date. I appreciate your assistance with this, and if there if any way I can be of service, please do not hesitate to contact me. Have a blessed day and ride safe out there everyone!
