AMVETS National Riders, I would like to introduce myself, I am Laura Stenson, your National Quartermaster. First and foremost, I want to apologize to any member that has called and left a message. I am having problems with the Voice Mail again… (Wonderful Time Warner strikes again). If you have tried to reach me please call again. Closed Friday (out of office) My goal as your QM is to build the QM to t best it has ever been. I am open to all suggestions and information. I strive to have a great working relationship with whoever I work with. I am working with the company that does the rockers/patches, etc. (same company that was used from the beginning). So rockers can be ordered, preferably by phone or email right now, as I am working on getting the web site updated with pictures and product numbers. When ordering, please indicate what color your rockers are and what EXACTLY both of them say (ex: CHAPTER 51 (top) THORNVILLE OH (bottom). I am learning the Riders By-Laws, and will follow them as I do all by-laws of the AMVETS Origination, and expect all members to do the same. The Quartermaster now stocks Ladies sizes in the Red Dress shirt and I am open for suggestions of what else you would like me to carry. Anyone knowing where the “BLING” articles were purchased, please share that info with me… To Ohio Riders attending the Ohio Fall Conference in October, if there is anything you would want me to deliver to you. Let me know ASAP. There will not be a Quartermaster set up there. My future plans are to attend the Mid-Year Rally in Kirkwood, MO. Again, do not hesitate to contact me.
